Professional Fees for Office Visits*

Our associated physicians practicing addiction medicine do not routinely accept private insurance for scheduled office visits. They do provide receipts that can be submitted for insurance reimbursement.

Discuss payment in advance. Credit card or cash deposits are required for new patients scheduling detoxification or beginning buprenorphine (Suboxone) treatment. Payment is expected at the time of services. We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover Cards. We do not routinely accept personal checks. Patients are charged for missed appointments. Same day cancellation fees may apply.

Our hysicians try maintain fees at an affordable level while providing a high level of service. Patients are encouraged to compare fees and services with those of other specialists. Patients should recognize that medical practice is highly regulated and that all practices have high office "overhead" expenses such as insurance, rent, licenses, certifications, professional dues, continuing education, hospital staff fees, and utilities. We spend a great deal of time speaking with patients and families on the telephone- without charge.

** Prescriptions for detoxification cost about $100.00 at a local pharmacy and are usually covered by health insurance plans.
